Composition, Opatov, Prague 2009

I sprayed this gorgeous wall in 2001 for the first time. Eight years later I returned to give it a fresh look. The old piece had been blown away by time. I was glad to learn that it stuck in the minds of people who live in the vicinity. They were happy to see me come back, to make a new piece. I attached a text fragment from an old PSH song: "South City, suburbia, people made of concrete, stacked up on each other, the dull dough of euphoria, both the small and large block will survive against the clock." One lady felt a bit offended by me writing that the locals were dull. I am sorry, but the text seems to me somehow positive, in a sort of melancholic way. I would just add that the piece was made at my own cost and without any skylift, I used only my ladder. So pure hard work.
