miniPOINT, Paris 2009

In the Czech Centre in Paris I took part in the exhibition Les Pragois. This little Point was a sort of a by-product. About a year later, I crossed Paris on my way back from Asia and had a few spare hours so I went back to the scene. And would you believe it, Point was still in its place!! I don’t actually know why I had bothered making so many large and heavy objects which were so short-lived. The smaller the piece, the bigger its chance for survival, the lower cost, the quicker it is to make and the lighter and less bulky it is, which means less labour intensive. I should have thought of it ages ago!
