Pointbird; Holešovice, Prague 2006
This little piece represent more than one hundred of the same kind. It builds on older models which I named "little dragons", which were placed all over Prague in 2004. This object is a little bigger and more massive, but still the body is constructed out of the letters that spell out Point. It is the Pointbird, which to some people resembles a duck. My goal was to cover the whole town with one and the same repeating motive. It is like a 3D tag, and it was supposed to fulfill the exact same function. I had a lot of fun installing them in daytime in front of all the people passing by. |
